Aspen Exotic Wood

Aspen: Deriving its name from its leaves which are inclined to tremble in the slightest breeze, Trembling or Quaking aspen trees are reported to mature to a height of 50 to 80 feet with a trunk diameter of 24 inches or more. Strength properties of Quaking or Trembling aspen are reported to be comparable to those of White spruce. Crushing strength is low. It is not hard and can be dented and marred easily. Weight and density are about average.
